WHY YOU NEED A BUILDING OR PEST INSPECTION

There are many things that can damage properties such as Borers and wood decay fungi, but no property is safe from Subterranean Termites! Termites are the cause of the greatest economic losses of timber in service in Australia.  Independent data compiled by States Forests shows 1 in every 5 homes is attacked by termites at some stage in its life.   Australia’s subterranean termites species (white ants) are the most destructive timber pests in the world.  In fact it can take “as little as 3 months for a termite colony to severely damage almost all the timber in a home”.  So if you are looking at buying a new house or office, or just concerned that you are being eaten out of your home. Then for your peace of mind, can we recommend you have a Building and/or Pest Inspection done!  If you are buying, your lender or broker will require, at least, a Pest Inspection is done before settlement.
